Playing with my upgrade to HDR Efex Pro 2. This was a handheld HDR (3 exposures) taken at the World Sandsculpture Championships in Ft. Myers, FL last November.

I would love to credit the sculptor, but I do not know who created this particular work. It was a powerful piece of art and I made images of it from multiple angles.

Wow. This is an amazing photograph of an amazing sculpture. It takes talent to capture the emotion of inanimate objects. But the lighting is perfect!

Daily Deviations

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose.
